Budapest-Istanbul motorcycle tour
Most of the tour takes place on well maintained back roads , in Transylvania, straight, good quality roads in Hungary, Croatia, Serbia,
Bulgaria and Turkey.
Between the two major spots of interest, Budapest and Istanbul there are a lot of highlights, these give the “taste” of this journey.
This spectacular tour leads you trough Central and Southern Europe. It starts from Covasna (Romania), than trough Transylvania
reaches Hungary, from Hungary continues to Croatia and Serbia all the way near the Danube river, to Bulgaria than trough Bulgaria to
Turkey.  This tour also provides the opportunity to discover the magic of this multi-ethnic area, were Ortodox East and Catholic West
meet, Christians and Muslims, with different tradition. You can learn about the simple lives of the area's natives by sharing their habits,
culture, cuisine, and drinks. And, of course, there are the roads themselves - long, twisty roads with gorgeous views; perfect for the
motorcycle enthusiast.

DAY BY DAY
Day 1:
Airport - Covasna
Once you arrive at the Bucharest Airport, we will provide transportation to Covasna where our base is located, welcome dinner will
follow.
Day 2:
Covasna - Reghin 240 km
We will ride on a scenic road through Szekely villages and little towns and by the end of day, everybody will be familiarized with his
rental bike and will have an idea about Szeklers and Transylvania.
Day 3:
Reghin - Debrecen (Hungary) 300 km
This ride takes us trough Transylvania, than into Hungary, Debrecen is one of the finest cities in Hungary and is close to Hortobagy,
next day’s highlight.
Day 4:
Debrecen - Budapest 190 km
On Day 4 we will visit the Hortobagy National Park, this is UNESCO heritage, has very well preserved natural habitats and animal
breeding skills typical for Hungarians. By the late afternoon will enter Budapest.
Day 5:
Budapest
Will spend a wonderful day in Budapest, this amazing city has a lot to show especially for bikers.
Day 6:
Budapest– Osijek 270 km
This day features several stops on in South Hungary’s famous wine region, near Danube, border crossing, from Hungary to Croatia,
will enter Osijek, than Vukovar (still keeping the scars of recent war).
Day 7:
Osijek—Belgrad  180 km.
Another border crossing, to Serbia, heading to Novi Sad and Belgrad. Our companion this day will be the gorgeous Danube river and
the evening highlight the city of Belgrad.
Day 8:
Belgrad - Herculane 270 km.
We will ride through the spectacular Danube canyon, meeting some splendid cities like Split, Orsova, and Herculane (Romania), while
the Danube shows his best all day long. This day is perhaps the most scenic.
Day 9:
Herculane - Sofia 310 km.
Leaving the Danube and crossing Bulgarian border at Vidin, after a plenty of scenic ride will arrive in Sofia, capital of Bulgaria.
Day 10:
Sofia - Haskovo 300 km.
An entire day in Bulgaria and its mountains with fine roads, heading to Stara Zagora and Haskovo.
Day 11:
Haskovo—Istanbul 330 km.
After a short ride in Bulgaria follows the border pass to Turkey at Edirne, from here a straight ride to Istanbul, the city of two continents.
Day 12:
Istanbul
Will spend an entire day in this unbelievable city, to taste its euphoric life, probably this experience can be a lifetime memory.
Day 13:
Istanbul-Burgas 350 km.
Leaving Istanbul is time to turn in Black Sea direction, border cross to Bulgaria again, heading to Burgas, one of the most beautiful
cities on Bulgaria seashore.
Day 14:
Burgas-Constanta 285 km.
The entire coast line of Bulgaria is full of beautiful cities like Nesebar, Varna, Balcik, than comes the Romanian shore with its famous
Constanta.
Day 15:
Constanta-Covasna 350 km.
South East Romania still preserve some surprises before entering again Transilvania at Brasov gates, this day ends with the farewell
party in Covasna.
Day 16:
Departure
Everybody will be transferred back to Bucharest airport.
