Great Carpathian Motorcycle Adventure
This tour crosses 5 countries, starts in Romania (Transylvania), and continue in Ukraine, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and return in
Transylvania. Incorporating the whole mountain chain of Carpathians.
These mountains are spectacular because of their wilderness and because of primitive life of today people, living in these valleys.
Also they hide a tumultuous history of past times, probably you will be able to discover this, as locals will tell stories about their parts.

Day by day

Day 1: Leaving Covasna and riding along Oitoz valley will get to the eastern side of the mountain chain (Moldova) until entering Trotus
valley and coming back to Transylvania, accommodate at 1100 m high mountain chalet (Madarasi Hargita).
Day 2: Riding trough mountains at Sikaszo pass, than Bicaz gorges and we are again on the eastern side at the lakeshore of Bicaz
lake, until the evening will arrive to Maramures County.
Day 3: After amazing monastery visit will pass to Ukraine and heading to famous Verecke pass, than Munkacs and Ungvar, two major
medieval forts.
Day 4:  Starting with Michalovce lake than heading to Presov, Levoca, Kezmarok and trough Polska border to Zakopane, this is the
high Tatra, the highest point of Carpathians the Gerlakovska peak 2654 m.
Day 5: A day in Beskids, back to Slovakia, to some beauties of nature like Oravska lake, than riding all day long trough the
Carpathians till Zvolen
Day 6: Heading to Hungary at Lucenec, border pass at Salgotarjan, here we are nearby Kekes peak the hihghest in Hungary, than
descend to Tisza lake, accommodate at Tiszafured.
Day 7: Fast ride on Hortobagy meadows, than back to Romania, at Oradea and from Beius we are in the Sunset mountains, climbing
to Padis than Rust valley (spectacular sights).
Day 8: The valley of the kings.
Fast ride to Deva and invade the old fortress, than pay a visit to the Castle of  Hunyad (the residence of Mathias Rex), entering  in
Bistra Corridor at Hateg (park of buffalos), Sarmizegetusa the old capital of the Dacic Kingdom, than accommodate at Three Rivers
mountain chalet.
Day 9: The Danube gorges. In the morning will ride through mountains and in the afternoon will ride one of the finest place in these
parts, where the Danube passes the Carpathians, accommodate at Hercules spa.
Day 10: Relaxing day with joyful ride trough the heart of Transylvanian Alps, near spectacular lakes, and from Brezoi comes the Olt
river defile, sleep at Calimanesti.
Day 11: Heading to Curtea de Arges from where take the Transfagaras road ( more than 2000m high mountain pass) and come back
to Transylvanian side than reenter in mountains and visit the famous Bucegi region.
Day 12: A day in the big Carpathian curving, with many spectacular natural phenomena from muddy volcanoes and mineral water
springs to some gorgeous mountain lakes, returning to Covasna by the evening.

We encourage group riding for this tour, as it tends to be more enjoyable. Passengers are also welcome - and riding two up has
proven to be no problem for experienced riders. To encourage group riding, we offer discounts for groups with four or more riders.
The best bikes for this tour are dual sports, touring enduro, and sport touring, of 400-800 cc or better. We have found that BMW F650
and similar bikes are the best suited to these tour conditions.
This tour is totally customizable, you can chose when or where to join our tour.
